This 'Goodwill' pennant was presented to the Australian Ice Hockey team by the captain of the Czechoslovakian team before their game at the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley, USA
Awarded to the Champions winners of the Ice Hockey Victoria, Winter season, Senior-A / Premier League Division since 1946. The oldest ice hockey trophy still contested in Victoria. Named after the proprietor of the former St. Moritz Ice Palais in St Kilda Victoria Australia. Harry Hans Kleiner, a well-known showman who ushered the modern era of Victorian Ice Hockey. Memorial named in honour of the fallen during World War II, which forced the Association into a brief hiatus.

Inaugurated by then Victorian Ice Hockey Association President George Hewitt, in recognition of the player ``voted the best and fairest`` later renamed as the Most Valuable Player from the regular season
in the Senior-A / Premier League Division. First presented to John Nicholas from the Pirates IHC. This prestigious medal has now been awarded annually since the 1954 season. A redesigned Medal was formally presented to the winner in 2018 for the first time in approximately 20 years.
Awarded to the Highest Points Scorer of the Ice Hockey Victoria, Winter season, Senior-A / Premier League Division. The 3rd oldest ice hockey trophy still awarded in Victoria. Inaugurated in 1949 by then Victorian Ice Hockey Association President Sydney Hoirt, in recognition of Hughie `Spot` Lloyd, a pre-war player of note, who after joining up for World War II service, was then tragically killed in an aircraft training accident.
Awarded to the Best Defenseman of the Ice Hockey Victoria, Winter season, Senior-A / Premier League Division. Once known as the Most Valuable Defenseman. Then was known for a period as the Honest Charlie Trophy. For another period, the Best Defenseman Award. Was officially named by the IHV Executive Committee as the Basil Hansen Perpetual Trophy for the Best Defenceman in 2008. A well respected and remarkable gentleman, a tenacious and solid defender during a long and distinguished career. A member of the Australian Olympic Ice Hockey Team in 1960. Partly responsible for the early formation of the then VIHA Junior programs of the late 1960`s. A long-term founding member of the Nite Owls organisation, skating until his early 80`s. Awarded to the Best Goal of the Ice Hockey Victoria, Winter season, Senior-A / Premier League Division. The 5th oldest ice hockey trophy still awarded in Victoria. First awarded in 1955 A trophy with a very sketchy past. Earliest recording from 1955 have the Best Goalkeeper Trophy named as the Hawley Trophy and recorded elsewhere the same year as the Bennett Trophy? Ye Olde Boys Trophy for Goalies was recorded in 1956. For many years recorded only as the Goal-Keeper Trophy, and in 1968 recorded as the Secretary`s Trophy. Known as the Kevin Sheehan Trophy for a period without any definitive acknowledgement of the year nominated as such. Actual perpetual trophy not handed out for some 30 odd years?? With best possible research done, the major refurbishment process commenced of all the IHV Trophies beginning in 2017. It was decided a completely new trophy was of the order. Paving way to nominate this perpetual trophy after two most respected gentlemen who happened to be partners in Australia`s only Olympic Ice Hockey Team
played in Squaw Valley USA in 1960.

Introduced by the Victorian Ice Hockey Association Executive Committee with the commencement of this level of competition in the Winter of 1948. JP {as he became known} was a known pre-war ice hockey administrator.
Awarded to the Most Valuable Player of the Ice Hockey Victoria, Winter season, Senior-B / Reserve Grade Division. Initially playing for the Eastern Suburbs team of 1946, he remained after they became the Eastern Demons IHC in 1947. Appointed as club coach in 1948 and playing through to 1951. Russell joined the newish Raiders IHC for the 1952 & 1953 seasons, where he won his only two H.H. Kleiner Premiership Trophies. Returning to the Demons in 1954 again as player and coach, he remained at the club until his retirement from playing at the end of the 1964 season. A regular member of the Victorian Goodall Cup sides of the 1950`s and 60`s, his 11 appearances as a player for 8 wins. Was the victorious Coach of the Victorian Goodall Cup Team for a further four straight wins in 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968!! A member of the Australian Olympic Ice Hockey Team in 1960. A revered gentleman who also had a distinguished career as an IHV Administrator as Treasurer and Statistician following the death of his great friend John McCrea-Williamson in 2001. Was appointed as the Patron of Ice Hockey Victoria in 2002, remaining until his own death in 2012.

Little is known of this individual except that he was a Referee in the 1950`s. Here are the words written describing the inauguration of this trophy, taken from an article on Page 14, of the June 8th, 1956, edition of the Victorian Ice Hockey Association publication of the `Ice Hockey Guide`
Article reads: Reserve Grade players are to have their own goal scoring trophy. It is having been presented by the popular and well-known Ernie Courtier, whose interest in the Reserve Grade has had much to do with its increased importance in the ice hockey scheme of things.

After much conjecture and debate it was deemed appropriate to reposition this trophy as The Kevin Sheehan Trophy as there had not been previously a specific given name attached to this award.

Introduced by the Victorian Ice Hockey Association Executive Committee with the commencement of this level of competition in the Winter of 1994. John was a long-time ice hockey administrator from the early 1950`s until his death in 2001.

Introduced by the Ice Hockey Victoria Executive Committee with the commencement of this level of competition in the Winter of 2010.
