On-Ice Officials Courses
These courses typically are scheduled prior to each Winter and Summer season and will be advertised on our social media platform(s).
They welcome anyone who would like to become an on-ice official & is for annual accreditation of our returning on-ice officials - Referees & Linespeople. On-ice officials play a critical part of the game. They ensure the game is played fairly, safely & within the rules. This is a great pathway for those wishing to pursue a professional career in officiating at Ice Hockey Victoria.
Minimum age to officiate is 15 years old.

On-Ice Officials - Referees and Linesmen
- Must be accredited through Ice Hockey Australia
- Open to Males and Females
- Must hold a current Working with Children Clearance
- Minimum registration of 'Referee'
- Signed Code of Conduct
- Must be 15 years or older
Off-Ice Officials - Scorers, Timekeepers and Penalty Box Attendants
- Open to Males and females,
- Must be over 16
- Must hold a current Working with Children Clearance
- Minimum registration of 'Non Playing Official'
- Signed Code of Conduct
